Pallet Layout and Brushes

When it comes to paint, there are a lot of choices out there.
From student grade to professional, cakes to tubes, Alizarin Crimson to
Ultramarine Blue, where does one start?

Below is one suggestion for students. The multiwell pallet
is based on Winsor & Newton colors. I've indicated what I suggest as
beginner colors with a colored square containing the color name.
Squares that have color names only, indicate additional colors for intermediate students.
Squares left blank are for your personal color discoveries.
Refer to the MATERIAL LIST for further explanation of paints.

Princeton Art & Brush Co. offers, what I believe to be, an excellent variety
