WILDLIFE ART
Artistic impressions in watercolor.

Welcome to the Watercolor Art of
Dan Meyer
This digital Gallery
has six wings. Five of the wings display Dan's
original watercolors.
The sixth wing is actually the Gift Shop which displays
the Reproductions.
The first of the
six wings is
Woods. This wing of the gallery represents the birds
typically found in the woodlands
and meadows of North America. This wing also includes the birds most commonly found at our backyard
feeders.
The second wing of the gallery, Wind, contains Meyer's watercolors of avian creatures who use flight in there search for food and those who have distinctive flight characteristics on the wing.
A celebration of waterfowl and shorebirds found in America's rivers,
lakes, wetlands and coastal waters are represented in the gallery wing labeled
Water.

In the Sporting Art wing, you will find images of sportsmen afield along with still life of sporting memorabilia, both past and present. Dan's article, Late Bloomer, along with one of his illustrations, was published in the November issue of Wildfowl magazine

Watercolor Sculptures are multilayered paintings created by cutting, tearing and reshaping layers of watercolor paper enhancing the visual dimension. This is watercolor at the next level!
